NEW DELHI: Eight-year-old Ranvir Sachdeva is emerging as one of India’s brightest young minds in artificial intelligence (AI). He recently made headlines as the youngest keynote speaker at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, impressing experts by connecting ancient Indian philosophies with modern technological innovations.
At the Summit, Ranvir highlighted how his generation will play a crucial role in shaping the AI-driven future. “Technology is evolving so rapidly that not just Millennials, but Generation Z and Generation Alpha will be the true change makers who adapt to and redefine what is being built today,” he told reporters.
During his keynote, he also showcased a real-world application of a newly released Indian AI model, emphasizing how AI literacy is critical for India’s growth journey.
A Child Prodigy on the Global Stage
Ranvir’s accomplishments extend far beyond India. In 2024, he became the youngest participant at the UNGA Summit of the Future in New York, demonstrating the potential of youth in addressing global challenges.
In 2023, as a Grade 1 student, he impressed Apple CEO Tim Cook with his Swift programming skills during the launch of Apple’s Delhi store and was subsequently invited to attend the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
He is also the author of the book “Are You Born With AI?”, which explores responsible AI and urges young people to become the change makers of tomorrow. The book received praise from UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who said, “We count on you for a better world with AI.”
