JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu delivered an impressive performance at the International Adolescent Leadership Summit 2025, held at Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, earning multiple accolades across diverse categories.
The prestigious summit was organised by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Expressions India – The Life Skills, National University & School Mental Health Program, and focused on life skills, resilience, and positive mental health and wellbeing.
Students of the school showcased exceptional talent, creativity, and leadership while competing with participants from across India and abroad. Stuti received an Exemplary Certificate of Merit in Manonritya – Indian Classical Dance (Solo), while Ishmeet earned an Exemplary Certificate of Merit in Painting for her artwork titled “Uthopia”. The school team also secured Exemplary recognition in Pathshala Nukkad Ki for a street play highlighting contemporary social issues.
In individual leadership categories, Miksha was awarded a Meritorious Certificate in The Young Orators for Wellbeing – The Voice of Change, and Divyanshi received Exemplary recognition in Yuva Sansad – The National Adolescent & Youth Parliament. Additionally, the students achieved Outstanding recognition in Swasthya Sangam: National Mental Health, Life Skills & Wellbeing Exhibition for their impactful and informative presentation.
The students were mentored by Sarika Sharma, Coordinator – Peer Educator, with exhibition support from the Art Department led by Harmeet (HOD Art & Craft). Dance guidance was provided by Sabha (TGT Dance), while Arun Salaria (PGT Sociology) mentored the Nukkad Natak team. The student team comprising Divyanshi, Ishmeet, Stuti, and Miksha was accompanied by Sarika Sharma and Anupama Sharma.
Rohini Aima, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, expressed pride in the students’ achievements, stating that the summit is a powerful platform that nurtures leadership, empathy, resilience, and purpose among young minds. She congratulated the students and mentors for representing the school with excellence and reinforcing its commitment to holistic education and youth wellbeing.
