NEW DELHI: The Splendor of Kashmir by Varuna Anand proudly showcased its exquisite collection of handcrafted Pashmina shawls at Le Méridien, New Delhi.
The exhibition celebrated the legacy of Kashmiri textile artistry through an elegant display of hand-embroidered Sui Kaam Jamavars and traditional Kani Shawls — each a unique heirloom creation reflecting centuries of craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and refined elegance.
The event was graced by the Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce, J&K, Vikramjeet Singh, who visited the showcase and interacted closely with the curation.
Designer and brand founder, Varuna Anand, presented her exclusive pieces, detailing the intricate and time-intensive processes behind each artwork — from hand-spinning pure Pashmina yarn to the meticulous weaving and needlework perfected by Kashmiri artisans over generations.
Shri Vikramjeet Singh appreciated the concept and execution of The Splendor of Kashmir, acknowledging its role in promoting authentic Kashmiri craftsmanship to national and global audiences.
