JAMMU: Voting continued steadily across Jammu & Kashmir’s Nagrota and Budgam constituencies on Tuesday, with both seats recording significant turnout by 3 PM, according to official data.
Nagrota Assembly Constituency (AC-77) registered an approximate 65.14% turnout by 3 PM, reflecting a strong response from voters in the early hours of polling.
In Budgam Assembly Constituency (AC-27), the turnout stood at 42.64%, with officials expecting the numbers to rise as more voters head to booths later in the day.
Polling officials said that despite chilly conditions in several areas, voters continued to arrive in steady numbers, while security forces ensured smooth and peaceful polling across both constituencies.
