JAMMU: Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Jammu & Kashmir, represented J&K as part of the official Indian delegation at the 66th MSV International Engineering Trade Fair in Brno, one of Europe’s most prestigious industrial exhibitions showcasing global advancements in engineering, automation, and manufacturing.
Sahai attended as an official guest from India alongside industry leaders from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Bengaluru, Kerala, Mumbai, and Abu Dhabi. The visit was facilitated by the Czech Embassy in New Delhi and warmly hosted by the Indian Embassy in Prague.
A key highlight was Sahai’s interaction with Ravish Kumar, Indian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, during a special Hi Tea at the Embassy. During the meeting, he briefed the Ambassador on J&K’s industrial potential and investment opportunities, inviting Czech companies to explore collaborations in manufacturing, packaging, automotive components, and green energy technologies.
Rahul Sahai praised the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transforming India’s industrial landscape and highlighted the progress in J&K under Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, further advanced by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his cabinet.
As Chairman of ICC Jammu & Kashmir and head of the Sahai Group of Companies, Rahul Sahai continues to promote industrial growth, MSME empowerment, and international partnerships, positioning Jammu & Kashmir on the global trade and investment map.
