SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) celebrated the 80th Independence day with patriotic zeal and fervour.
The flag hoisting ceremony was simultaneously held at the JKBOPEE office Bagat-e-Barzulla Srinagar and JKBOPEE office Bahu Plaza, Jammu.
At the Srinagar office, Chairperson, J&K BOPEE, Professor Minu Mahajan unfurled the tricolour in presence of the officers and officials of JKBOPEE.
While speaking on the occasion, she paid homage to all those valiant heroes who laid down their lives for independence of the Nation. She along with all the officers and officials pledged to make all efforts for the prosperity and progress of our great nation.
The function was also attended by the Member, JKBOPEE Dr. Bashir Ahmad Lone.
At the Jammu office Member, J&K BOPEE, Professor Surinder Kumar Sharma, hoisted the flag in presence of the Secretary, JKBOPEE, Dr. Shabir Hussain Keen and other officers and officials of JKBOPEE.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Sharma paid homage to the heroes of independence who laid down their lives to give us this independent nation on 15th of August, 1947.
