BHADERWAH: A UT-level Mushaira Jashn-e-Azadi was organised today at Government Degree (PG) College Bhaderwah as part of the celebrations marking the spirit of freedom, patriotism and cultural heritage.
The programme was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunil Kumar Bhutyal as the chief guest, The College Principal was the Guest of Honour. The literary event was attended by faculty members, including Dr.Akhtar Hussain (HOD) Urdu, senior citizens, students and other distinguished guests.
The Mushaira provided a vibrant platform to the poets and participants to showcase their literary talent and express their sentiments on patriotism, national unity and love for the country through Urdu, Kashmari and Hindi poetry. The participation of students and senior citizens added further charm and diversity to the event.
The Mushaira was attended by Mir-Maglis Ashok Kumar Sharma Paras, Suhail Sadaqi, Hamid Ullah Mayer, Sajid Sarmadi,Altaf Ayab, Adil Farhat,Touseef Tabish Majid Jami and others participated in the Mushaira.
The gathering appreciated the rich tradition of Urdu literature and poetry, while highlighting the important role of cultural and literary activities in nurturing patriotic values and strengthening social harmony among the younger generation.
