UDHAMPUR: A Safaimitra Suraksha evam Samman Shivir (camp) was organised today at Udhampur for Civic Workers focusing on their health, welfare and social security.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Jugal Kishore presided over the camp in the presence of ACP Dr Ashwani Hansa.
During the camp, a medical team conducted thorough medical checkup of the workers, including X-ray screening for TB, besides checking other health parameters to assess their overall health and well-being.
Additionally, representatives from J&K Bank sensitised the Safaimitras about various social security schemes and assisted them in registration for availing the benefits.
Later, the chief guest felicitated the Safaimitras in recognition of their valuable contribution towards maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the district.
