JAMMU: The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has announced the operation of a special train service between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to cater to the increased passenger demand, particularly from devotees traveling to the holy shrine.
The service—Train No. 04081/04082—will run from December 12 to 14, providing added convenience and improved travel options during the peak period.

- Departure: New Delhi at 11:45 PM on December 12
- Arrival: Katra at 12:00 PM the next day

Train No. 04082: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra → New Delhi

- Arrival: New Delhi at 10:00 AM the next morning

Railway Officials’ Statement
Commenting on the periodic special train services in the Jammu division, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) Uchit Singhal said:
“This special train is being operated to provide better travel options for passengers. It will also improve the chances of passengers securing confirmed tickets during peak seasons. The train will operate as a reserved special with 20 coaches.”
Passengers can book tickets through the official Indian Railways website, mobile app, or authorized agents. The Railways has advised travelers to verify train timings before starting their journey.
