KUPWARA: MY Bharat Kupwara organised a “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat” programme at Abu Bakar Institute, Handwara, with the objective of spreading awareness among youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
During the programme, District Youth Officer (DYO), Kupwara, Abid Nissar, along with the participating youth, took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge in the local Kashmiri language. The pledge highlighted the collective responsibility of youth and the community in preventing substance abuse and building a healthier society.
The programme encouraged young participants to stay away from drugs, adopt positive lifestyles and actively contribute towards the vision of a Nasha Mukt and Viksit Bharat.
MY Bharat Kupwara continues to engage youth through awareness and community-based activities aimed at fostering responsible citizenship and positive social change.
