SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday reviewed operational deployment and security preparations for the upcoming Kousarnag Yatra.
The review meeting was held with concerned formations of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, 2 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, 14 Sector Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force.
The meeting focused on ensuring foolproof security arrangements and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
Senior officers reviewed deployment plans, coordination among security agencies and operational preparedness for the yatra.
The security review was aimed at ensuring effective ground-level coordination and maintaining a safe environment for pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage period.
