JAMMU: Young speed skater Puneesh Puri delivered an impressive performance at the World Skate Europe Track Series 2026, bringing pride to Jammu and India with a Top-10 finish in the Youth Men category.
Representing the Simmons Rana Racing Team, Puneesh competed in the 21st International Inline Speed Skating Tournament – Terras do Infante in Lagos, Portugal, and Arena Geisingen International 2026 in Germany. He participated in both sprint and long-distance events against elite international athletes.
Despite intense competition, Puneesh displayed determination and composure, narrowly missing a podium finish while standing out for his competitive spirit against seasoned skaters.
A student of Heritage School, Puneesh’s journey reflects consistent dedication and discipline. His performance has been widely appreciated by coaches, mentors, and the Simmons Rana Racing Team, who highlighted his focus and growing international potential.
