JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, proudly celebrated the outstanding participation and achievements of its Scouts and Guides in the Tritiya Sopan Camp, held at Yog Ashram, Gol Gujral.
A total of 15 Guides and 5 Scouts from the school took part in the camp with remarkable enthusiasm and dedication.
Under the expert mentorship of STC R.P. Kotwal, Trainer Manjeet Kour (HQC), and Trainer Kastoori Lal Sharma, the students underwent rigorous training in knot tying, first aid, estimation, camping techniques, and hiking. These sessions enriched their navigation skills, teamwork, and physical endurance.
Guided by Guide Captain Gitanjali Anand and Scout Master Surjeet Kumar, the camp instilled discipline, resilience, and leadership qualities among the participants.
Adding further pride, JSS Jammu students showcased their creativity and talent in various competitions:
- Varnika secured 1st Prize in the Painting Competition.
- Mahi Choudhary bagged 1st Prize in the Envelope Designing Competition.
- The spirited JSS team clinched 2nd Position in the Qawali Competition, impressing the audience with their rhythm and harmony.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Shagun Choudhary, Principal, SOS School Jammu, whose inspiring presence motivated the participants and added glory to the occasion.
Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, Rohini Aima, lauded the efforts of the Scouts and Guides, congratulated the winners, and encouraged all students to carry forward the values of discipline, creativity, dedication, and service to humanity.
The camp proved to be a milestone in the scouting and guiding journey of Jammu Sanskriti School, shaping confident leaders of tomorrow who embody the true spirit of teamwork, service, and perseverance.
