REASI: The Indian Army organised a special interaction programme, “Tea with Gujjar & Bakkarwal”, at Chakalsalta, Reasi, to further strengthen its bond with the local population.
A total of 68 members from the Gujjar and Bakkarwal communities, along with local representatives, participated in the event. Held in a warm and cordial setting, the gathering featured tea and light refreshments, fostering a spirit of togetherness and mutual respect.
More than just a routine interaction, the initiative provided a meaningful platform for open dialogue, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to the welfare of the community while nurturing trust, camaraderie, and cooperation.
The event was widely appreciated by the participants, who acknowledged the Army’s continuous efforts in reaching out and engaging with remote communities of the region.
