RAJOURI: Reaffirming its commitment to the welfare of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) families, the Indian Army organised a Career Counselling Lecture for children of ESM at the remote location of Argi, Rajouri.
The session aimed to guide students on career prospects, competitive examinations, vocational opportunities, and higher education avenues. Special focus was laid on preparation strategies, government welfare schemes, skill development programmes, and career opportunities in both civil and defence sectors.
Conducted under the Army’s ongoing outreach programme, the initiative underscored the Army’s commitment to the holistic development of youth in border and remote areas.
The lecture was well received by students and ESM families, who expressed gratitude to the Army for its continuous support and guidance.
This endeavour reflects the Army’s determination to empower the younger generation, inspire them towards nation-building, and further strengthen its bond with the local populace.
