JAMMU: Students of The Heritage School Jammu brought laurels to the institution by securing First Position at the National Science Day celebrations held at CSIR–Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine in Jammu on February 28, 2026.
The event was organised to mark National Science Day and witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 350 students and 37 teachers representing 13 schools. The programme aimed to encourage scientific curiosity, innovation and critical thinking among young learners.
During the celebrations, four major competitions were conducted, including a Science Model Exhibition, Poster Presentation, Quiz and Extempore. Participants were also given an opportunity to visit various research laboratories at the institute and interact with scientists and scholars, gaining valuable insights into ongoing scientific research and technological advancements.
Displaying remarkable scientific knowledge, creativity and teamwork, the Heritage School team impressed the judges with their outstanding performance, particularly in the quiz competition, which helped them secure the top position.
The winning team included:

- Daksh Singh Bedi (Class IX-A)
- Niyati Bajaj (Class VIII-C)
The Heritage School fraternity congratulated the students for their commendable achievement and wished them continued success in their future academic and scientific pursuits.
