JAMMU: Heritage School Jammu celebrated its 21st Foundation Day on April 10 with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests to mark over two decades of excellence in education.
Established in 2005, the school has emerged as a hub of academic innovation and character building. The occasion served not only as a celebration of milestones but also as a reaffirmation of its mission to nurture young minds for a brighter future.
The ceremony began with a sapling presentation to welcome guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The welcome address was delivered by Archana Sharma, Coordinator (IX–X), while an insightful article by Saina Singh of Class XII-D reflected on the institution’s journey and core values.
Cultural performances added vibrancy to the celebration, including a devotional Ganesh Vandana, dance performances by primary students, and a melodious presentation by the school band.
The event was graced by Sunil Gupta, Sunita Gupta, along with distinguished guests Karthik Gupta and Sunaina Gupta. Parents of award-winning students were also honoured as special invitees.
A highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of students with the Star Achievers and All-Rounder Trophy awards, recognising excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.

The awards were presented by the Chairman, celebrating students who embody the school’s guiding motto, ‘Vidya Dadati Vinayam’.
Delivering the vote of thanks, Akash Pradhan emphasised that excellence is a continuous journey and congratulated the achievers and their families. He acknowledged the collective efforts of students, staff, parents, and management in shaping the institution’s success since its inception.
The ceremony concluded with a spirited rendition of the school song, reinforcing unity and pride as the institution continues its journey of excellence.
