JAMMU: In a broad daylight burglary, unidentified thieves decamped with 200 grams of gold ornaments and ₹5 lakh in cash from the house of Ashok Kumar in Durga Nagar Sector 1 on Thursday.
Police said the burglary occurred when the family members were away. The accused reportedly entered the house by breaking the AC window.
Following a complaint, Police Post Chinore registered an FIR and initiated an investigation. A police team visited the spot, detained several suspects, and subjected them to sustained questioning.
