GURUGRAM: Reliance MET City (Model Economic Township Limited), one of India’s fastest-growing integrated smart cities, today announced the inauguration of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility established by BEUMER Group at MET City, Sector-5, Dadri Toe, Jhajjar.
BEUMER Group, a global leader in intralogistics, conveying, loading, palletising, packaging, sortation, and distribution technologies across sectors such as cement, mining, minerals, airports, courier & express parcel automation, and warehousing, has selected MET City to expand its manufacturing footprint in India. The new facility further strengthens MET City’s reputation as a preferred destination for advanced manufacturing and global enterprises.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO, Reliance MET City, said, “We are delighted to welcome BEUMER Group to MET City’s world-class industrial ecosystem. Mr. Nitin Vyas, CEO, BEUMER Group Cluster ASIA, highlighted BEUMER’s long-standing commitment to India. “BEUMER has continuously invested in India. After acquiring an Indian SME in 2011, we opened a modern 4,228 sqm office in Gurgaon in 2023. Today, we celebrate another milestone — inaugurating this state-of-the-art factory built on a 42,508 sqm plot at Reliance MET City. From land identification to inauguration, the project was completed in just 15 months, a remarkable achievement. This facility will serve BEUMER customers globally, delivering the quality we are known for,” he said, crediting the seamless support from the MET City team under Mr. S.V. Goyal.
