The opening day witnessed five competitive encounters, with young footballers displaying impressive skill, determination and sporting spirit. RAMBAN: The Inter-District Division-Level Chess Competition for Girls, organised by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, concluded today at Chanderkote with participation from young chess players from across the Jammu Division. Around 132 girl players representing 10 districts—Jammu, Samba, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Doda, Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Ramban—participated in the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories.
