NEW DELHI: BJP Jammu and Kashmir Spokesperson Ankit Gupta on Tuesday met Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh, at his office here to discuss issues and opportunities related to youth empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Ankit Gupta apprised the Union Minister of various initiatives and challenges concerning the youth of the Union Territory, with particular emphasis on promoting startups, entrepreneurship, innovation and employment generation among young people.
The discussion focused on the Central Government’s efforts to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir, including improving access to funding, mentorship, skill development programmes and creating an enabling environment for young innovators and entrepreneurs to succeed.
Ankit Gupta expressed gratitude to Dr. Jitendra Singh for his continued guidance and proactive role in encouraging youth participation in nation-building and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship across the region.
The meeting concluded with a shared emphasis on building a vibrant startup culture, expanding opportunities for young entrepreneurs and accelerating youth-led innovation as a key driver of economic growth and social transformation in Jammu and Kashmir.
