BANDIPORA: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Nazir Ahmad Mir, today conducted an extensive inspection of various ongoing works being executed by the Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC) Department, Sumbal at different locations across the district.
During the inspection, the ADDC visited Hajin, Check Chadergeer and Bakshi Bal to take first-hand stock of the progress of the works and assess the pace and quality of execution at the work sites.
The ADDC was accompanied by the Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, and other officials of the I&FC department, Sumbal. The contractors executing the works were also present at the respective sites.
During the inspection, the ADDC stressed upon the concerned officers and executing agencies to ensure quality execution, adherence to approved specifications and timely completion of the works. He also reviewed the progress made so far and took feedback regarding the requirements and challenges being faced at the sites.
The concerned officers and contractors informed that the works are expected to be completed within a period of three months.
The ADDC directed the concerned authorities to maintain close monitoring of the works and ensure that the projects are completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining the prescribed quality standards.
