JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu proudly participated in the prestigious Mind Smart Conclave 2026, a three-part hands-on participatory series on Life Skills and Wellbeing Leadership for Senior School Peer Educators and Ambassadors.
The programme was organised by Expressions India under the guidance of Jatinder Nagpal.
The first session of the conclave, titled “Understanding Self & Growing Up”, focused on important adolescent themes including the journey of adolescence, nutrition, hygiene, self-care, resilience and coping skills.
Representing Jammu Sanskriti School were Janvi Behl of Class XII-A, Kritika of Class XII-B, Sonakshi of Class XI-B and Pragya of Class IX-D under the guidance of Sarika Sharma.
The conclave commenced with registration and team-building activities wherein students were grouped into different teams to encourage collaboration and interaction with peers from diverse schools and backgrounds.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, along with distinguished dignitaries including Professor Dhananjay Singh, Member Secretary, ICSSR; Veena, representative from the Ministry of Education; Divinder Kumar, Director Education; and Vividh Gupta, Principal, Bal Bhawan Public School, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi.
The inauguration ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a musical presentation and a thought-provoking nukkad natak highlighting adolescent concerns and contemporary challenges faced by today’s youth.
The peer educators from Jammu Sanskriti School actively participated in group discussions, case study analyses and reflection sessions on themes related to mental health, resilience, self-awareness and healthy living.
Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, Rohini Aima appreciated the sincere efforts and dedication of the young peer educators for representing the school confidently on a national platform.
The conclave concluded with an engaging session encouraging students to carry forward the learnings and implement wellbeing initiatives in their respective schools. Follow-up sessions of the programme are scheduled to be held in July and August 2026.
