JAMMU: An atmosphere filled with pride, enthusiasm and celebration marked the Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 organised by Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, showcasing leadership, discipline, cultural excellence and national spirit.
The ceremony was presided over by Kanwaljeet Kour Anand, Chairperson, Taran Education Trust, whose presence added significance to the occasion.
The programme commenced with the Tilak Ceremony and a welcome address, followed by the rendition of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem. Students also presented saplings and handmade cards as symbols of gratitude and environmental awareness.
The event featured a welcome song and cultural dance performances that received appreciation from the audience.
Addressing the gathering, Rohini Aima, Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, encouraged the newly elected student council members to uphold the values of discipline, humility, responsibility and dedication towards the institution and society.
The ceremony included a coordinated march past, followed by the pinning of badges and sashes to the newly elected student council members. The oath-taking ceremony and pledge administration highlighted the commitment of students towards leadership and service.
A major highlight of the event was a Nukkad Natak presented by students on the “Nasha Mukt Bharat 100 Days Challenge”, an initiative spearheaded by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The performance highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and promoted awareness about building a drug-free society.
The gathering was also addressed by Sunakshi Anand, Director Operations, Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, and Harleen Anand, Director Operations, Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, who motivated students to emerge as responsible citizens and future leaders.
The event also featured the felicitation of the chief guest and a leadership-themed dance performance by students.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Avneet Kour Budhraja, Vice Principal, followed by the National Anthem.
The Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 reflected the institution’s commitment towards holistic education, ethical leadership and nation-building.
