JAMMU: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reappointed Dr. Minu Mahajan as Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination for a further period of two years.
According to an official notification issued by the General Administration Department, the reappointment has been made under the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002.
The notification stated that, “in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 read with Section 6 of the Act, the Government hereby reappoints Dr. Minu Mahajan (Retd. Principal) as Chairperson, BOPEE, for a further period of two years.”
Dr. Mahajan has been serving as the head of BOPEE, the body responsible for conducting entrance examinations for professional courses across Jammu and Kashmir.
Her reappointment is expected to ensure continuity in the functioning of the Board and the smooth conduct of upcoming entrance examinations in the Union Territory.
