UDHAMPUR: Government College for Women (GCW), Udhampur has added another feather to its cap with the selection of nine NCC cadets for the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026, underscoring the institution’s strong commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and nation-building.
This remarkable achievement has been accomplished under the able leadership of Professor Nalini Pathania, Principal, GCW Udhampur, whose constant guidance and encouragement have inspired students to excel not only in academics but also in co-curricular and nation-oriented activities.
The selected cadets represented the college and the Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (J,K&L) Directorate during the rigorous selection process. The cadets selected for RDC 2026 are:

- Cadet Monika Thakur – 6 JK BN NCC, Jammu
