SRINAGAR: The State Bank of India Officers’ Association (SBIOA), Jammu Module, on Sunday organised an Inter-Region Cricket Tournament between teams representing two Regional Business Offices of Jammu Module at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shivpora.
The tournament featured RBO-I Dynamos, led by Aakash Dogra, and RBO-IV Gladiators, captained by Syed Saqib Ali. Officers from various SBI branches under both regions participated in the event.
Regional Manager, RBO-I, Mir Mohammad Akbar graced the occasion, motivating the players and appreciating SBIOA’s efforts in promoting sportsmanship among officers. President SBIOA Jammu Module, Shah Zaman accompanied him.
Three matches were played during the day:
- Match 1:
RBO-I Dynamos 74/6 defeated RBO-IV Gladiators 67/9 — Dynamos won by 7 runs - Match 2:
RBO-I Dynamos 78/3 lost to RBO-IV Gladiators 81/4 — Gladiators won by 6 wickets - Final:
RBO-IV Gladiators 72/9 lost to RBO-I Dynamos 73/5 — Dynamos won by 5 wickets
With a 2–1 victory in the series, the RBO-I Dynamos lifted the championship trophy.

Deputy General Secretary SBIOA Jammu Module Rajesh Mehta, along with Zonal Treasurer Aakash Chuni and Captain of Jammu Module Team Harvinder Singh, presented the trophies and individual awards.
Officers present lauded the initiative as a strong step towards enhancing camaraderie, teamwork and promoting co-curricular activities among SBI staff.
