JAMMU: Aayushi Sudan, a 2017-batch IAS officer, on Monday assumed charge as Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). She will also look after the work of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL).
Sudan was serving as Deputy Commissioner, Samba, before her new assignment. As JMC Commissioner and CEO, JSCL, she will oversee civic administration, sanitation, urban infrastructure, public amenities and smart city development in Jammu.
Her appointment comes amid continued efforts to improve civic services, strengthen urban infrastructure and promote sustainable urban development in the city.
