SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed 25 officers as Liaison Officers for visiting VVIPs and dignitaries in connection with the 1st International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir, scheduled to be held from September 7 to 10.
According to Government Order No. 1483-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated September 4, the appointments have been made with effect from September 7 to September 10, 2026.
Among the officers appointed are Khalid Jahangir, JKAS, Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration; Mehmood Ahmad Shah, JKAS, Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited; Shiv Kumar Gupta, JKAS, Controller, Legal Metrology; Sudershan Kumar, JKAS, Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization; Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, JKAS, Managing Director, SIDCO/SICOP; Arun Kumar Manhas, JKAS, Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu; and Mussarat-ul-Islam, JKAS, Director, Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir.
The list also includes Vikas Sharma, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Shabir Hussain Bhat, Kapil Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Kuldeep Krishan Sidha, Ashish Kumar Gupta, Ashiq Hussain Lily, Parveez Ahmad Raina, Rajnish Kumar, Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, Shokat Mehmood, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Magray, Rakesh Kumar, Masarat Hashim and Mohammad Anwar Banday.
The order states that all appointed officers shall report to the Director, Information, J&K, Srinagar, immediately for briefing regarding their duties and responsibilities during the festival.
