JAMMU: Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP, an authorised Mahindra & Mahindra dealership, on Tuesday introduced the BE 6 SPORTEQ at its B.C. Road, Rehari showroom in Jammu, marking the latest addition to Mahindra’s electric SUV portfolio.
The vehicle was unveiled by MLA Arvind Gupta in the presence of Aggarwal Group Chairman Swatantar Aggarwal, Vineet Aggarwal, Nitin Aggarwal, other directors and family members of the group, besides representatives of banks, NBFCs, customers and staff of Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP.
The BE 6 SPORTEQ series has been introduced with Battery as a Service (BaaS), with prices starting at ₹11.45 lakh and the battery priced at ₹3.75 per km, based on usage parameters specified by the company.
A key feature of the new series is its futuristic three-screen, coast-to-coast digital cockpit, paired with six new TEQ Suites. These include TEQ_Talk powered by Google Gemini, which Mahindra describes as a next-generation conversational companion aimed at making the driving experience more connected and intuitive.
Mahindra also unveiled two additional versions under the SPORTEQ range — the Launch Edition, featuring a Graphite Storm exterior with Racing Tan leatherette interiors, and the Formula E Freedom Edition, which carries a more performance-oriented design inspired by Mahindra’s Formula E programme.
The company said technology and software features introduced on the BE 6 SPORTEQ will also be rolled out in phases to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S owners from January 2027 through over-the-air software updates, depending on vehicle model and variant.
Deliveries of the new range are scheduled to begin on August 26, coinciding with Onam.
Speaking at the launch, Vineet Aggarwal, Managing Partner, Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP, said the BE 6 had attracted significant attention since its launch in November 2024 and that the SPORTEQ series was being offered in 12 colour options, including four new colours — Rosso Impulso, Ruby Velvet, Graphite Storm and Firestorm Orange Satin.
The range will be available across eight variants — ONE, TWO, THREE, THREE+, FOUR, FE, FE FOUR and Launch Edition.
Mahindra said the SPORTEQ range continues its Software Defined Vehicle strategy, with the six TEQ Suites powered by MAIA, Mahindra’s Artificial Intelligence Architecture. The performance-focused Freedom Edition will also offer an Acceleration Boost enabling 0–100 km/h in 6.44 seconds.

The company said the listed prices do not include the wall charger or installation cost. Under BaaS, the battery charge of ₹3.75 per km has been calculated considering usage of 60 km per day.
Vineet Aggarwal said Jammu Motor Mahindra operates showrooms across Jammu province, including B.C. Road Rehari, Kunjwani, Poonch, Reasi, Banihal and Kishtwar, offering Mahindra SUVs and electric vehicles along with in-house finance and used-car exchange facilities.
The dealership also has a presence in the commercial vehicle segment through outlets at Kunjwani, Mishriwala, Poonch, Reasi and Kishtwar, besides last-mile mobility offerings at Kunjwani, Digiana, Poonch and Kishtwar. Its main workshop and body shop is located in the Gangyal Industrial Area, Jammu, with additional workshops at Muthi, Poonch and Kishtwar.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Arvind Gupta said the BE 6 SPORTEQ represented a combination of sport, technology and electric performance and described electric mobility as an important part of the move towards a greener and smarter future.
He also highlighted features such as Battery as a Service, the digital cockpit and Google Gemini-powered TEQ Suites, while congratulating Mahindra & Mahindra, the Aggarwal Group and Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP on the launch.
