BHADERWAH: The three-day historic Mela Patt, a centuries-old religious and cultural festival dedicated to Lord Vasuki Nag, the presiding deity of Bhaderwah Valley concluded today with great devotion, enthusiasm and traditional gaiety.
The concluding day witnessed a massive gathering of devotees, locals, tourists and visitors, who participated in the age-old rituals and sought blessings at the revered Nag temple. The vibrant celebrations reflected the deep faith of the people and the rich cultural traditions that have been preserved and passed down through generations.
The festival offered a magnificent display of the region’s distinctive cultural heritage, featuring traditional rituals, devotional gatherings, folk music, dances, colourful processions and cultural performances by local artists. The celebrations also highlighted Bhaderwah’s rich legacy of communal harmony, cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence.
The three-day event brought together people from different communities and backgrounds, creating an atmosphere of shared celebration and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and social harmony.
ADC Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal and ADC Doda Anil Kumar Thakur along with officers and officials of the district administration, prominent citizens, religious representatives, local residents and a large number of visitors attended the concluding celebrations.
