MUMBAI: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) successfully hosted its Global Business Summit 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, under the theme “One Nation, Multiple Opportunities.”
The two-day event brought together global leaders, senior government officials, industry stalwarts, and delegates from over 20 partner countries including Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy, and Israel, making it one of the year’s most significant business gatherings.
The summit featured addresses by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, MP Milind Deora, former CJI & Rajya Sabha MP Ranjan Gogoi, Attorney General of India R. Venkata Ramani, along with senior representatives from various state governments.
Key discussions spanned defence & aerospace, petrochemicals, green technology, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, infrastructure, AI, fintech, and industrial growth, with dedicated state sessions highlighting investment opportunities across India.
Rahul Sahai, Chairman, ICC Jammu, attended and addressed the summit, where he highlighted the unique strengths of Jammu and Jammu & Kashmir.
In his remarks, Sahai lauded the transformative work carried out under the leadership of Lt. Governor Shri Manoj Sinha since 2021, particularly in promoting industrial growth, sports, tourism, peace, and overall development.
He added that with Omar Abdullah and his cabinet now leading further, Jammu & Kashmir is setting new benchmarks of progress and prosperity.
Emphasizing the proactive role of ICC Jammu, Sahai underlined the chapter’s commitment to fostering growth in industry, trade, and tourism while inviting dignitaries, global investors, and delegates to explore opportunities and invest in J&K.
The summit also underscored India’s growth roadmap aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, focusing on sustainability, global partnerships, and inclusive development.
Sahai’s intervention was widely appreciated for projecting Jammu & Kashmir as an emerging hub for industry, tourism, and international collaborations.
