JAMMU: The three-day Jodhamal Youth Conclave 2025 (JYC’25) concluded with a grand Valedictory Function, celebrating the intellectual engagement and leadership skills of nearly 350 student delegates from leading schools.
The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Sumita Sharma (JKAS), Joint Registrar, University of Jammu, who praised the students for their enthusiasm and critical thinking.
The 8th edition of JYC brought together a dozen schools under the theme: “Fiat lux ex tenebris” (Let light emerge from darkness). Delegates participated in six committees—Lok Sabha, UNW, UNSC, MEBDC, International Press, and UNODC—debating topical issues and engaging in diplomacy exercises.
Over the three days, students showcased exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, confidently expressing opinions and analyzing national and international challenges. Social events organized each evening provided a refreshing break from the day’s intense discussions.
Following tradition, the host Jodhamal School delegation was not eligible for awards. The Overall Best Delegation Trophy was awarded to K.C. Public School, Jammu.
The conclave formally concluded with the declaration by Secretary General Guhika Sachdev, marking the successful closure of JYC’25.
