KATHUA: The much-awaited Regional Round of Behes 2025 was hosted with great enthusiasm at Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua on October 4th and 5th, marking a spectacular two-day celebration of intellect, dialogue, and youthful confidence.
✨ Day 1 – Behes Regionals 2025 Commence with Energy and Ideas
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Salil Singh, Founder of Behes, and Eshan Butalia, Tournament Director, whose insightful words inspired participants to think critically, speak fearlessly, and engage in meaningful debate.
The opening day was filled with spirited discussions, thought-provoking arguments, and a remarkable display of analytical and public-speaking skills by students. The atmosphere was vibrant with teamwork, learning, and enthusiasm — setting a powerful tone for the grand finale to follow.
✨ Day 2 – Grand Finale & Prize Distribution Ceremony
The concluding day of the Behes Regionals 2025 was marked by intellectual brilliance and celebration. Anchors Urvi Singh (Head Girl) and Kamakshi commenced the ceremony with a warm welcome and a Sanskrit shloka, invoking peace and positivity.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including:
- Mukund Tibrewal (IPS), SP Operations Kathua and Kandi – Chief Guest
- Salil Singh, Founder of Behes
- Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman, Jammu Sanskriti School

The welcome ceremony included a presentation of a card and sapling to the Chief Guest, followed by the traditional lamp lighting to signify the spirit of knowledge and enlightenment.
A nostalgic Day 1 recap video reignited the excitement before the much-awaited Final Round of Behes, where young debaters showcased clarity, courage, and conviction in their arguments, leaving the audience deeply impressed.
The event culminated with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating excellence, teamwork, and oratory brilliance. Dignitaries were presented mementos of appreciation, and Urvi Singh delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, organizers, and participants.
