KATHUA: Under the aegis of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex, Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua hosted a grand Inter-School Nukkad Natak Competition on the theme “Viksit Bharat – Hamara Sankalp” to inspire patriotism, creativity and awareness among young learners. The medium of presentation was Hindi.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a melodious welcome song by the host students.
Aana Jamwal (Tehsildar, Nagri Parole) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The judging panel included:

- Chanchal Raina – Government Teacher, GMC Budhi
- Kirti Sharma – Government Teacher, GMS Kutlehar
Principal, Mili R. Sumbria, extended a heartfelt welcome to the dignitaries and participants. She expressed gratitude to all Sahodaya member schools and the Executive Committee for entrusting Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua with the event.
Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Ms. Aana Jamwal highlighted the role of youth in nation-building and praised the students for their confidence and socially relevant performances.
A total of 18 schools participated, depicting their vision of a Developed India by 2047 through powerful street plays showcasing initiatives such as Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Chandrayaan, Swachh Bharat, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, and Khelo India. Their performances reflected themes of equality, innovation, self-reliance, and national growth.
A dance performance by Class VII students — Navika, Anshu and Mrinalini — added a vibrant cultural flavour to the event.

The Chief Guest presented trophies and certificates to the winners, while dignitaries and judges were honoured with mementos.
Smriti Sharma, Primary Wing Coordinator, proposed the Vote of Thanks, appreciating the support and contribution of schools, teachers, judges and participants.
The competition concluded with a message of inspiration, encouraging students to uphold the spirit of “Viksit Bharat – Hamara Sankalp” and contribute to the nation’s journey towards a Developed India by 2047.
