SRINAGAR: A delegation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) comprising Rahul Sahai, Chairman ICC Jammu; Khalid Wani, Chairman ICC Kashmir; and Dr. Rajeev Singh, Director General ICC, called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his Srinagar office today.
During the interaction, the delegation briefed the Chief Minister on ICC’s ongoing activities in Jammu & Kashmir to promote trade, commerce, and industry. They also put forth a series of proposals focusing on strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, boosting investments, and generating new opportunities for growth and employment in the Union Territory.
The Chief Minister lauded the efforts of ICC in supporting industrial and business development and assured full cooperation of the government in initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable economic and industrial growth in J&K.
