JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for visiting Jammu to review post-flood rehabilitation measures, saying the visit underscores the seriousness with which the Centre views the crisis.
The Chief Minister reiterated that timely relief, rehabilitation, and rebuilding the lives of flood-hit people will remain the government’s top priority.
In a post shared by the Office of the Chief Minister, J&K on X, it was stated: “Chief Minister attended the review meeting chaired by Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji on the flood situation in J&K.”
The post further quoted the CM as saying: “He expressed gratitude for the visit, which underscores the seriousness of the crisis and will strengthen coordination. He reiterated that the government’s priority remains timely relief, rehabilitation, and rebuilding lives with resilience.”
