ANANTNAG: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat today conducted an extensive venue review and on-site inspection to oversee preparations for the District Level Mega Tiranga Rally, scheduled on August 12 under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026.
The rally will kick off from Sports Stadium Anantnag and traverse through the town before reaching its culmination point at Lal Chowk Anantnag.
To ensure the grand event is held smoothly, the DC visited both the starting location at Sports Stadium and the termination point at Lal Chowk, reviewing the ground readiness and logistical setups.
During the inspection, the DC issued comprehensive directions to all line departments regarding venue preparation including branding, seamless mobilization, induction, and structured de-induction of all participants, security and traffic, power supply, dedicated drinking water arrangements, music van, PA System, healthcare and other necessary facilities. He instructed the officers to ensure seamless arrangements are made and rally is held with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized close inter-departmental synergy so that participants, including students, local citizens and officials participate with ease and convenience.
The DC was accompanied by senior officers from civil administration, police and line departments including ADC, SP, CPO, SE PHE, Exen R&B, DIO, DYSSO, CEO MCA and other officials.
