DODA: A district-level training programme on Population Enumeration (PE) under Phase-II of Census-2027 for non-snow-bound areas was held today here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex Doda. The training was imparted to District-Charge Officers, Census Clerks, Technical Assistants and other officers associated with the Census exercise.
Principal Census Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Krishan Lal chaired the session attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Anil Kumar Thakur; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ashraf Pervez; District Statistics & Evaluation Officer.
Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of meticulous planning and thorough preparedness for the smooth and successful conduct of Population Enumeration in non-snow-bound areas under Phase-II of Census-2027. He directed the Charge Officers and Census functionaries to ensure accurate, transparent and error-free enumeration by strictly adhering to the prescribed guidelines, operational protocols and timelines.
The Resource Persons and Master Trainers from the Directorate of Census Operations J&K conducted technical sessions covering key operational aspects, including Enumeration Blocks, Census schedules, field protocols, supervisory mechanisms, data recording and monitoring procedures.
