DODA: The District Quality Assurance Unit (DQAU) Doda on Monday organized an Exposure Tour cum Field Visit Programme to the NQAS health facilities of the District.
The exposure programme aimed to promote peer-to-peer learning and replication of successful practices in other health facilities preparing for NQAS assessment, thereby strengthening the overall quality of healthcare delivery across the District.
The field visit covered the NQAS health facilities of Medical Block Ghat, including AAM SC Trown, Shiva, Zadan, Dhar, Panjsoo, Bhagwah, Bhaboore & Hanch, and Medical Block Thathri, including AAM SC Bajja, Kencha, Malanoo, Puneja & Drone Jamani. The participating teams visited the high-performing NQAS facilities of AAM SC Khellani, AAM SC Paryote and AAM SC Shaya under Medical Block Assar.
The main objective of the exposure visit was to provide an opportunity to the participating healthcare teams to observe and learn best practices, quality improvement measures, documentation systems, infection prevention and control practices, patient friendly initiatives and other NQAS-related processes being successfully implemented at the visited facilities.
During the visit, the teams interacted with the staff of the host facilities and observed various aspects of facility management, implementation of NQAS standards, maintenance of records, availability of essential services, cleanliness and infection control, patient safety and continuous quality improvement practices.
