JAMMU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday held a core group meeting to deliberate on candidates for the four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir that have remained vacant since 2021. The polling for these seats is scheduled to take place on October 24.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh were among the senior leaders present during the discussions.
Party sources said deliberations are underway, and a final call on the nominees is expected soon.
