SRINAGAR, Sept 4: An IndiGo aircraft operating from Navi Mumbai to Srinagar came into contact with a Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) pole while being positioned at Bay No. 06 at Srinagar Airport on Friday morning. According to Srinagar Airport, IndiGo flight 6E 225 (VT-NOG) was involved in the incident at around 9:02 am during the parking process. Two men have been rescued alive from a tunnel at the Trishuli 3A hydropower project 10 days after the Bhotekohi flash floods disaster. They have been identified as Kabir Maharjan, 45, and Sanjay Sah, 30. Around 600 children remain unaccounted for in Nepal’s Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts after the devastating flash floods, as the death toll rose to 1,282 on Friday with more than 4,700 missing.
