Centre cuts diesel export levy to Rs 1/litre, Special Additional Excise Duty to Rs 19/litre
NEW DELHI: The Centre has revised the duty structure on exports of petroleum products with effect from September 1, cutting the Road and Infrastructure Cess (RIC) on diesel exports to Rs 1 per litre from Rs 3 per litre and the Special Additional Excise Duty (SAED), or windfall tax, on diesel exports to Rs 19 per litre from Rs 24 per litre, according to a government notification.
