JAMMU: A total of 132 students from three fresh batches of Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu, successfully completed their summer internship at the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Bari Brahmana campus. The internship aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which mandates a 60-hour internship for undergraduate students. The programme aimed to foster entrepreneurial thinking, research skills and teamwork among participants. JAMMU: In a major crackdown on the illegal trafficking of pharmaceutical drugs, the Drugs Control Organisation, Jammu and Kashmir, has intercepted and confiscated a consignment of 4,400 Tapentadol tablets that were being illicitly transported through a private courier service in Jammu. Acting on specific intelligence and routine surveillance of courier networks, Drugs Control Officers, under the supervision of Assistant Drugs Controller (HQ) J&K Pankaj Malhotra, conducted a targetted inspection at a local courier facility. NEW DELHI: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday said 1,240 national highways projects in 29,406 km, costing Rs 7.80 lakh crore, are currently under construction in the country, of which 15,674 km have been completed. These projects are under various stages of construction and are scheduled for completion in a phased manner by the financial year 2028-29, Gadkari said in a written reply to Rajya Sabha.
