JAMMU: The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu Centre, celebrated 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at its premises.
The National Flag was hoisted by Er Anil Verma, FIE; Chairman in presence of Er Avneet Gupta, MIE; Honorary Secretary, Committee Members, Corporate Members and other distinguished Guests.
On this occasion, Members paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country. The gathering also reflected on the significance of the day and reaffirmed their commitment to contribute towards the nation’s progress through engineering excellence.
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem and exchange of greetings among the Members.
