JAMMU: Work is underway to restore train services that were suspended due to heavy rains in the Jammu Division of Northern Railway. In view of the upcoming festive season and passenger convenience, the Railway authorities have announced the fifth phase of restoration to normalize rail traffic in the division.
Previously, services were restored in four phases, and now several important trains are being re-operated in the fifth phase as per the following schedule:
🔹 Re-Operated Trains:
- 12426 (Jammu Tawi – New Delhi): From October 16, 2025
- 12752 (Jammu Tawi – Nanded): From October 19, 2025
- 11078 (Jammu Tawi – Pune): From October 17, 2025
- 18102 (Jammu Tawi – Tatanagar): From October 18, 2025
- 18310 (Jammu Tawi – Sambalpur): From October 19, 2025
- 74909 (Pathankot – Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan): From October 15, 2025
- 74910 (Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan – Pathankot): From October 15, 2025
🔸 Short-Terminated / Short-Originated Trains:
- 19028 (Jammu Tawi – Bandra Terminus): Short-terminated at Ludhiana
- 19416 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Sabarmati BG): Short-terminated at Amritsar
- 20986 (Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan – Kota): Short-originated from Ludhiana
- 22942 (Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan – Indore): Short-originated from Jalandhar Cantt
- 20848 (Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan – Durg): Short-originated from Ambala Cantt

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Mr. Uchit Singhal, stated,
“Following this disaster, we have worked on a war footing to repair damaged tracks, bridges, and other infrastructure. Our aim is to fully restore all rail services at the earliest, minimizing passenger inconvenience. We sincerely thank passengers for their cooperation and patience.”
Passengers have been advised to verify train status before commencing their journey by visiting the Indian Railways website or contacting the Rail Madad Helpline (139).
