RAMBAN: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv-2025 celebrations, a series of activities were organized across district Ramban to promote education, health, cleanliness, sustainability and social awareness.
At Primary School Nari Mahakund, SDM Gool Imtiaz Ahmed, along with other officers, spent the day with students to encourage an effective teaching-learning process.
The programme focused on promoting health, cleanliness, sustainability and community responsibility.
Various interactive activities were conducted to spread awareness on hygiene, eco-friendly practices and building a responsible society. The initiative witnessed active participation of teachers, students and community members, reflecting the spirit of collective responsibility for a healthier and sustainable future.
Meanwhile, the Labour Department Ramban, in collaboration with Tata Project Ltd. and Shreeshvendra Construction Pvt. Ltd., organized a free health check-up camp for construction workers at a site near Army Camp Digdole. A total of 110 workers benefited from the camp, where a team of doctors conducted health screenings and consultations. In addition to medical services, workers were sensitized about various welfare and pension schemes offered by the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCWWB). Company authorities were also directed to arrange similar health camps regularly to ensure the well-being of their workforce.
Further, the Health Department under the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’ organized a specialized health camp at NTPHC Chanderkote and two additional camps at AAM SC Kainthgali and AAM SC Jhatgali Wanga, focusing on the health of women and children.
All initiatives under Sewa Parv-2025 were well received by the community, showcasing the administration’s commitment to promoting health, education and welfare for all sections of society.
