JAMMU: The Technical Lab Team of SP Rural Office Jammu has successfully recovered 40 missing mobile phones valued at approximately Rs 7 lakhs. These devices had been reported missing at various police stations and posts across the Rural Zone of Jammu.
Acting on missing reports received through concerned SHOs and ICPPs, the team, led by ASI Daljeet Singh under the supervision of SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma, traced the phones from different districts across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Several pending missing reports have now been closed, and recipients expressed their gratitude to the police for their dedicated efforts.
This recovery adds to the team’s previous efforts, having earlier recovered 150 missing mobile phones, bringing the total to 190 phones valued at over Rs 30 lakhs.
Jammu Police reaffirmed their commitment to public service and urged citizens to promptly report lost or stolen devices to facilitate swift action.
