JAMMU: FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh (JKL), in collaboration with the J&K Police and powered by Munjal Auto, today announced the third edition of the Half Marathon – Run4Health 3.0, scheduled to be held on October 5, 2025.
The marathon will flag off from Gulshan Ground, Jammu, at 5:30 AM, and is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from citizens across the Union Territory.
Addressing a press conference, Aarti Chowdhary, Chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL, said the marathon goes beyond being a sporting event—it is a social movement to promote fitness and raise awareness about drug abuse.
“Drug addiction is a grave challenge facing our youth. With this marathon, we want to channel their energy into something positive. Our motto is simple but powerful—‘Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life,’” she emphasized.
Sudhir Anand, Race Director, underlined that the marathon symbolizes discipline, unity, and commitment, with every step taken by participants serving as a message for a drug-free society. He urged youth, parents, teachers, and civil society to participate actively.
Kanupriya Garg, Event Director, stressed the role of families in addressing the drug menace.
“The fight against drugs begins at home. Families must stand united, guide the younger generation, and help them overcome negative influences,” she noted.
Registrations for the marathon are now open, with special arrangements being made for the smooth conduct of the event. Citizens from all walks of life are invited to participate and support the cause of building a healthier, stronger, and drug-free future.
The press conference was attended by senior FICCI FLO JKL office bearers, including Varuna Anand (Past Chairperson & National Initiative Head – Partnerships and Collaboration), Ruchika Gupta (Immediate Past Chairperson), Varsha Bansal (Sr. Vice Chairperson), Rupika Sahay (Sr. Vice Chairperson), Sona Mehta (Treasurer), Shipra Aggarwal (Joint Treasurer), Nandita Bajaj (Secretary), and Pooja Dewan (Joint Secretary).
