SRINAGAR: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, on Saturday visited south Kashmir to review the counter-terrorism grid and assess the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the region.
During his visit, the Army commander emphasised adaptability, precision, sustained vigilance and synergy as key enablers for conducting successful intelligence-driven operations and ensuring rapid response to emerging security challenges.
Interacting with troops deployed in the region, Lieutenant General Sharma appreciated their indomitable spirit, professionalism and dedication towards keeping the area free of terror and safeguarding peace and stability.
